The Soul of Misfortune

        It was October 2011 when I saw ankle Mark's (our neighbor) abusive action towards auntie Leny. It was harvest time that day,that's why ankle Mark drink terribly every night and day. He go to baryo and spend money every time that he earns from harvested rice field. Auntie Leny is a plain house keeper, she is pregnant that time and has two daughter, Jenny,11 years old and Mary, 9 years old. 
        One day, ankle Mark did not went home for almost 2 days, that's why auntie Leny got worried and decided to find ankle in Baryo. I suddenly go to their house to played with Jenny and Mary. We played Barbie doll and "Balay-balay"inside their room. I even wear like a business attire that time when ankle and auntie suddenly appeared and started to argue in living room. The three of us looked to each other and peered  into small hole of wood. I witnessed the argument of the couple. Auntie Leny talk angrily to ankle Mark, that's why he terribly slap auntie Leny. Mary started to cry. Ankle beaten auntie Leny's  face, and then in stomach. She said her pleas fell on deaf ear. She kneel down and ask forgiveness to ankle Mark. But he beaten auntie again on her back. My tear suddenly fall from my face until my neck. I saw the pain and grief on her face. But the worst of all, ankle Mark get their TV and beaten toward auntie's back. We shouted and cried. 
       

       This time, I feel the pain and agony of my auntie. My heart felt pain every time that I saw the abusive actions of ankle Mark. My father suddenly went to that house and beaten unto ankle Mark's face. He get me as well as Jenny, Mary and auntie. Jenny and Mary are still crying but auntie Leny did comfort them. They stayed our house that night and explained to my father of what happened. After how many days, I found out that they transferred to Dese-utso Monkayo Comval Valley and make new life. I also found out that Ankle Mark is dead due to unknown reason. There are a lot of rumours that ankle is dead because of Tb and other kinds of illness, but then, I also heard that he died because auntie Leny's brother killed him. 
       

       Six years later, I saw Jenny on face book because she sent a friend request. She is now working in office on Davao City. I shared a lot of things about our situation today, also she shared her new life. I found out that Mary, her younger sister already have a family. I was shocked about it! But the most creepy thing is auntie Leny got psychological disorder.
